I was shocked to learn this week of Jim's passing. He was a valued colleague and friend on the FRMS committee and we got along famously. We shared the same sense of humour and he insisted that I regularly send him Tommy Cooper jokes! I can't say how many times we must have re-enacted the famous Julie Waters 'soup' sketch! I'll always have special memories of someone who was committed to sharing his passion for music to he benefit of others in so many different ways. RIP, Jim.
